With up to 25W of output power, the Argos Optical Parametric Amplifiers (OPOs) generates the highest power output of any OPO on the market. The output is single mode with narrow linewidth and unmatched frequency stability. Moreover, the system is tunable from 1.4 to 4.6 µm, making the Argos OPOs ideal for a wide range of applications such as spectroscopy, gas sensing and laser cooling. Overall power output declines approximately according to the photon energy 1/λ. A limited amount of overlap in the wavelength coverage between Argos’ four modules is provided by temperature variation of the nonlinear crystal.
