The SpectraK Dual allows the choice and tuning of multiple specific wavelengths in the SuperK supercontinuum spectrum. The technology is based on Accusto-Optical Tunable Filters (AOTF) and as such filters work in only one octave, the SpectraK Dual has the option of inserting two AOTFs to cover a wider range of the SuperK spectrum. Each AOTF is able to tune 8 multiple channels simultaneously. By choosing a combination of one or two AOTFs, the SpectraK Dual can provide up to 16 wavelength tuning options in the visible, visible & nIR or nIR & IR. In special cases, two SpectraK Duals can be realised to provide tunability over the whole SuperK spectrum. Should the filtered light be delivered via fiber as a preference, then the FDS (Fiber Delivery System) is an add-on accessory to the SpectraK Dual which provides fiber output via a collimator or standard connector as options.
